MM EBC… heads are produced with IC903 substrate, which is an ultra-fine carbide grain with 12% cobalt and TiAlN PVD coating. This provides high wear resistance and toughness in a wide range of materials including hard steels (up to 62HRc), titanium, nickel-based alloys and stainless steel.
